Grief is like gardening...seeds are planted in the dark and the cold, and burst through searching for light. And in early Spring, the light comes and goes; the dreary grey sky can last almost a whole week, then days of warmth and growing, but the rain comes again, and you wait. But as Spring moves farther away from the months of cold, the sunny days are longer, and tender stems reach for the heavens, hoping to touch the clouds, waiting for the warmth of summer.
